It was nice to have a quick breakfast at home and not have to stop at dunkin donuts on the way to work!
I went to the office for the first time since starting this. I brought my usual salad for lunch and a half carton of raspberries.
They had brownies and ice cream at work and I DECLINED! It was hard but I did it!
It was also a stressful day, and I noticed that my desire to eat sweet foods definitely increased with stress! Its a good thing to be self aware of, hoping to change the things I turn to when I'm stressed!
After work I ran home quick where my lovely husband was preparing dinner. We had chicken lettuce wraps with ground turkey, water chestnuts, coconut aminos and other spices on romaine lettuce hearts and they were delicious!
I then went back to work for my night shift, again armed with lots of approved snacks just in case I was up all night. Luckily, I was not, so the only thing I ate was an Rx blueberry bar. It was very chewy but good!
Days 4-5 is supposed to be the "kill all the things" stage. Today I was a bit irritable, but it was mostly because of my work schedule. More so, I've had a headache, which could be from the "detox" stage but also may be because I had dental work done on Thursday and some tooth pain!
We'll see how I am tomorrow!
