Day Two!

I am proud to say I made it through my night shift last night eating only a banana and almond butter! Yay!

Today felt easy, although I know thats normal for the first week, or at least the first few days. I have temptations here and there, and definitely still have cravings for sweet things after eating meals. The hardest thing right now is coffee. I am still drinking it with the nutpods, but it just is NOT the same, sweet drink I am so accustomed to!

I also realized today that for some reason, when I have a drive ahead of me, I love to get an iced coffee to drink on my way. Its an emotional connection that I seem to have that I didn't realize before as much. I did give into the whim somewhat- I got a black iced coffee and brought my nutpods with me (talk about nutCASE!) but....ew. Did I drink it? yes. I am desperate for my tastes to change so this tastes decent to me!

Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs, an avocado, salt, and cilantro. Yummy!

Lunch was one of my 5 salads I pre-made for the week. It included: lettuce, homemade approved ranch dressing (basically olive oil, coconut milk, spices and lemon), ground turkey, cucumber, pear, sliced almonds. It was actually incredibly delicious!!


Dinner was a burrito bowl which included: cauliflower rice (from trader joes) with fresh lime juice and cilantro, guacamole (basically just smashed avocado + cilantro + salt), tomatoes, ground turkey and approved salsa (no sugar or artificial ingredients!). It was so good!


I was able to stay distracted after dinner working on some things which REALLY helped with cravings and mindless eating at night, my biggest struggle.

I'm proud of making it through day 2. So far, not too hard!

Tomorrow I have a get together with friends that will include desserts and appetizers. My first test!
